To Parteh or Not To Have Parteh

I have a month left to decide what I really want for my birthday. For the past months (yah I’m an eager beaver STFU), I have been thinking of holding a party. Ya know, invite all my buddies (at lahat ng halang sa alak na kakilala ko), private pool party (since I’m *that* deprived from swimming), lots of alcohol and munchies, reggae music (para feeling nasa beach) and for the fun of it, hire a henna tattoo artist (para talagang feel na nasa beach), hire macho and sexy dancers for entertainment? hahaha and maybe even book CliqueBooth for a night (imagining I have the money to splurge).

I never had a debut party, as customary to women here when they reach 18, since my family was in a financial dilemma 5 years ago. And now that I’m making enough moolah to host a birthday bash without having to worry about what to feed my daughter and myself soon after that party, I thought to myself: whatthehey, I want to partey. lol

Great gift! But then my former bandmates (brothers who friggin left me here in the Philippines while they’re all gone someplace else) gave me a gift card that “entitles” me to a 2-day vacation (for two) to any place of my choice (here in the Philippines) on any date from November 18-25.

I was hoping it was a car, but this is still good news to me. A vacation! How grand! But just to be a spoiled little brat, of course I was haggling and finding loopholes with this card, like they really had to state local (talagang ayaw ako paalisin ng bansa). According to Tom, Matey said that they could only afford two days, I could stay longer given I pay for the extra days on food and lodging. The card didn’t say how many I could bring but Tom stressed only for two, I asked could I bring my kid and someone to take care of her, he still said (with glaring eyes by then) FOR TWO. LOL so much for haggling.

I was thinking of booking for Puerto Galera (since sadly I’ve never been there), Cebu, Camiguin or Amanpulo (gad honeymoon ba ito? Amanpulo?!?!). Now wherever I decide to get booked (and when I finally decide who I’d take with me), I want to splurge on that vacation (spa, food, photo and swimming galore!). I still want that party though because I never had a party since I was seven years old (sniff) but I can not, for the love of all that is mighty, afford to bring my buddies (at lahat ng halang sa alak na kakilala ko) to that vacation! So don’t suggest anything like that…

For someone who’s pretending to be busy like me, a month to prep is not enough whether it’ll be a party or not so much. I need help!!!!

Haaaaaay… Buddha where are you? I need enlightenment.

you know joi, I kindof wish you don’t choose Amanpulo, the lodging price alone would give us a heartattack, please save it for your honeymoon unless you plan to get married before your birthday?

Joiz: Now see you guys suck, you don’t want Hongkong and then now you don’t like my Amanpulo idea. :( But tonight’s your lucky stars have blessed you pare, I don’t plan on going to Amanpulo (I just mentioned considering it), and yes I am saving the idea for a honeymoon IF the honeymoon ever comes.

i see.i’ve seen your girlfriends sis,if you decide to have that party with everyone you know, moreso if your cousins are there,i might just change my mind and fly back for your party. :love:

Joiz: God DA now I remember why I had second thoughts for a swimming party! But anyways, even if you decide to fly back, I’m not inviting you. Only the coolest and hottest crew get an invitation. You guys still suck for not giving me an extension. *pouts*

Hmmm I really want to party but I want to keep it here sa Manila para pwede pumunta lahat ng friends kong nandito sa manila, mahirap maghakot ng tao if I’m dragging them to Laguna or Batangas or other distant places. Kaso… wala akong alam na place na pwede almost overnight dito. Haaay

WOAH! That’s a cool gift! I’ve only been to Puerto. it was really overrated for me. I’d rather go someplace else. Sagada perhaps? And smoke a lot of weed? Hahaha! kiddding.

Though, yeah Puerto would be a nice destination! Advance Happy Birthday!

Good luck with whatever you decide. Pwede naman din sa Amanpulo diba. Tutal eh hindi naman ikaw magbabayad ng accommodation and all, lubusin mo na nga!

Wow, receiving a gift card to a 2-day vacation is nice! ^^ Really neat~ I doubt my bandmates would do that for me in the future. Hahahah~ :lol:

I wish I could suggest a place for you. An overnight stay in Metro Manila would probably mean… Booking a room or 2 in a hotel, use their indoor/outdoor/rooftop pool, etc. Wala naman kasing resort dito sa city. ^^;;; Ah, I’ve got a friend who rents their house-turned-into-party-place. They have a swimming pool and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate you and your friends. I just don’t know if the rooms can be used already. O_o Because they were still having the whole place cleaned and organized the last time I went there.

Joiz: My former bandmates are my financiers sometimes, they owe me THAT much and they love and worship me to the highest level (protest and I cut off yuz head guys, it depends on my mood which head :gross: I am pertaining to) LOL but seriously I love these guys ^_^ Saan yang house-turned-into-party-place? I might be interested! I don’t need rooms who said anyone’s sleeping? :woohoo:
