To say that this article was not meant to malign, hurt or express prejudice against the OFWs now sounds hollow after reading through all the blogs from Filipinos all over the world. One good thing though is it made me read blogs like this one (have'nt read any blogs at all). Found out there are lots of brilliant minds out there. I'm on OFW here in Dubai and flies Emirates, hopefully she won't fly this way again and I do read books thicker than a magazine.. I guess her editors are also idiots and bigots like her otherwise they would’nt have run that article.

I didn't read her whole article because the first few sentences kind of bored me. Who's she? She's not even interesting at all and I find it a wonder that she's a writer in a magazine. The post in the ML only quoted one part of her article. That is about wanting to slash her wrist. I thought she should have done that since she wanted to.
