A lot of bloggers talk about how they are using Unionbank’s EON to withdraw their funds from Paypal and how they got their expanded use number by calling the Unionbank customer service center.
The expanded use number or the EXPUSE number is a requirement to lift the sending limits in Paypal. If using a credit card, a $1.95 fee is charged from the credit card and the EXPUSE Number would normally be received on their billing statement the next month.
In the case of Unionbank EON CyberAccount users, you would have to call to get the EXPUSE number. But as I’ve found out from Pinoy Money Talk:
Paypal strongly discourages this policy of contacting card companies to get the Number, as seen in the following note from the PayPal website.

If this was the case, why does Unionbank prefer to have to their card users call to get the EXPUSE numbers?
It isn’t exactly our fault that we have to go through that method since it is the bank’s revised policy. And if Paypal was against this said policy, shouldn’t they investigate and warn Unionbank about it?

I’m being so geeky again. Aha all too well, found Nokia’s Viral video about web 2.0 on YouTube. Chuckled over the guys running away from a big Facebook pokey pokey finger… heh tell you I’m really shallow.
Kinda upbeat song, kinda funny vid.
I’m bored and I’m being a nerd. What a combo!
What the hell am I still awake for, anyway? Sheeez it’s 4 in the morning! hehehe

In 6 months, an alien planet is going to be destroyed by a meteor and will wipe out the entire 10 million population of cute aliens.
To all ye Facebook addicts, I implore you! Help save an alien! We’re asked to adopt these aliens (one alien for one human, each alien is uniquely generated by an algorithm). When you’ve selected the one you like, you adopt it and the alien is transported safety to Antarctica. You can then do a few things with your alien - download images of it, use a tool to add images of your alien into your own photos, etc. And if you really love your alien you can buy a shirt with it on it. I’m guessing the maker of this app will get filthy rich if people’s altruistic tendencies extend to fictional aliems from outside space.
Meet my adopted alien, Zaki! (I named her Atamaii but Zaki’s her real alien name) She’s pink, she’s cuddly and she packs a mean slash (she’s like a samurai yo? or simply called an onna bugeisha?). I fell in love with her because of the katanas…
So far none of her family has been saved yet
help me save her family!

If you do not really like a tagboard for spammers to linkbomb but want to be contacted instantly by your readers without having to be waaaaay off topic on the comment area of your latest post, then maybe Meebo might do you some justice. It’s the little widget on my sidebar just below the searchform.
Meebo also bridges all the major IM services (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk, ICQ, and Jabber). But up until now, you had to go to Meebo.com to use it or go to a partner Website that embeds the Meebo widget. Yep, you heard me, up until now.
Now it has an add-on for the Firefox Web browser (news from TechCrunch). Supposedly if you use Firefox, you could drag links to anyone on your buddy list. When you get a new IM, you get a visual notification (such as a blinking tab or a pop-up toast). And you would not have to go through the hassle of opening a new tab, or a new window to send a meebo IM which was the main reason I removed the widget from my site: I keep forgetting to login and check the messages!

As if the news about the availability of Western Union Quick Cash Option for Adsense Publishers in the Philippines wasn’t good enough, I’ve just been informed of yet another good news for my friends online. Guess what, Paypal finally opens its doors to send AND receiving money for the Philippines.

Before, we could only send payments but now they’ve removed all the restrictions (ok not all restrictions, but do you see me complaining?) to Paypal’s features and we can send and receive payments.
Did I already say we can receive money through paypal? Oh yes, we can! We can withdraw from our PayPal account to a U.S. bank account or to our debit/credit cards. Too bad we still can’t withdraw locally but beggars can’t choose! Oh well, all good things happen to those who wait.
Now see that? This good news makes life so much easier for us who do business transactions online most of the time. Aside from making payments for domains and hosting easier in the past, now I don’t have to bother people from abroad to let me use their Paypal accounts to receive payments coming from international clients.
