Better Late than Pregnant

After a week of not posting anything, I think I owe it to myself to make a very long and juicy post. There has been a lot of highlights from this past week and I’ve been as usually fickle as to whether to blab about it on the internet or keep it to myself. But what the hey, let’s enumerate some…

Beaten to a Pulp

I wasn’t able to finish this post last night, I was too tired to check whether I typed it properly so I just saved it in my drafts. But here it is…

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh it hurts like hell! Soon after heading out of the gym, I met up with anya ken. And we went to a popular sports arena in our city. I tried out boxing today for the first time, and for one reason and one reason alone, because I was dragged to it (curses kennots! curses!). I knew I wasn’t there to just watch but I didn’t expect to be trained (more like toyed) like that on my first day. My muscles are stiff from working in the gym. And if that wasn’t bad enough, for the fun of it, we had a mock fight (I think the boys there seldom have female visitors), I was paired to a 20-year-old guy who was so excited to beat someone up that he forgot he was sparring a girl. It was just for fun but it turned out much more painful to be just a game. I’m badly bruised. I have purple spots forming on my upper arms right now. I can’t fold my arms that much. So I shall not return to the ring again anytime soon.

A Trail of Blabs

Before you read further, if you have a website or a blog with a link to my blog before. Can you please change it to the new URL? Thanks! Ok back to your regular blogging…

Organizing my schedule and ordering my tasks comes natural to me when I know I’d be swamped with activities but today, I am distracted for some reasons. And I cannot pin point what the heck is distracting me. But just before I work on my daily tasks, I wanted to blog about what the heck I’ve been doing since my old blog died on me. Maybe that can unload some memory space in my brain. This will be long so take a deep breath, buckle your seat beat and bear with the aimless talk…

The advantage of being a free lancer is that you have full control of your time, you could go shopping, party till dawn, meet with friends, spend time with family, etcetera. The downside of it? It gets lonely and boring at times. I don’t have workmates to chat with while I work, most of my friends are employees so I rarely go out either since there’s noone to hang out with. I have my daughter to play with but I can’t talk to her about Google and PHP or fashion and showbiz now can I?

Let’s Start With A Bang!

Alas 2007 is here, and what better way to celebrate the new year but with a lot of fireworks!

As people close to me would know many things have changed since this year came, one of those changes is my domain name! I’ll explain that later…

So what fireworks have I got in store for you today? Let’s see…

Fireworks #1: Good bye joiz.be?

I’m now a .org! I’m an organization now! -grins sheepishly- heh but seriously, what happened? You can read the long story later but to cut the long story short, the domain was registered in a lame registrar. “Lame” is an understatement by the way.

All thanks to my hunky and dear friend and dungeon master, Grim, for everything!! And I mean everything!! I swear I owe you a lot! I have a question though, where do I get myself a handful of yummy men like you? You are the sweetest!

I have to work on the template for this. And have to work on the site a lot! I’m actually and overly excited!

So my friends, I’m on joiz.org now! Remember: ORG not BE. Get used to it people! Because I’m still not
Fireworks #2: Old Posts No More

Back For My Birthday

I am quite back! And for my first trick, I will saw jimsie in half…. errrr no.
For my first post after my “yet another” leave, I will show everyone glimpses of what I have been up to.

Lady of ManaoagLast weekend, I took up an invitation to go Manaoag, Pangasinan. I honestly am not a very religious person, but when I was invited to join the pilgrimage to the Miraculous Lady of Manaoag, I took it as a sign to get help me strengthen myself as a person. Something told me this was the escape that I needed to have, that I have longed to get.

The experience was peaceful and quite fulfilling. I do not remember when the last time I prayed solemnly and sincerely but on that day, I gave myself back to faith. I prayed for family and friends and for peace of mind and heart.

Reminiscing...Aside from this spiritual fulfillment, it was sort of a roadtrip aswell. Sadly, I didn’t have my daughter with me to cherish the moments since my mother advised me against bringing her on this beating 10-hour round trip travel upnorth. I took photos of the things I saw on the road, not much human poses involved (with the exception of me posing in a few times). This time I used my phone to take photos (last trip, my digicam was stolen). I enjoyed the on the road experience although my butt fell asleep after all those times seated.
