From the uber informal and useless series of posts, a very geeky and information embedded post might be a shock for some. But anyways, this will probably catch the interest of bloggers and website owners alike since we all dedicate a fraction of our (if not our whole) time daily to maintaining our blogs and websites. Uptime is very important to a website, and in turn it is important that the server where the website resides is always to almost always accessible. Everyone who owns a website wants their website to experience minimal or no downtime because if the site always seem to be experiencing downtime, network failure, system outage or connection failure, either or both can happen:
- loss of revenue and/or profit
- loss of interest of viewers to revisit the blog or website
And we really don’t want our sites (especially business types) to be cause of great annoyance and distrust now, do we?

Accccccckkkkkkkk Now see, this is one mega ultra super bionic DELAYED post.
But oh well… On with the show.
(Exactly) One month ago, at this same time, I was here at this same place (uhm, in front of my computer where else), in this exact position. The only difference is, today I just got out of bed, a month ago, I just got home from Mall of Asia’s Taste Asia where the second (their second, my first) Bloggers Food Fest took place.

If this was food, who would want to order such a thing?!
Pardon me if today’s menu leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I was not suppose to blog about this, I have been reading a lot about her on other people’s blogs that my attention for her in my own blog is a waste of time, effort and gray matter. But I give in. I cannot for one more second stare on and just shut up.
Case in Point: Malu Fernandez
Ai caramba, who is she? Do we have to talk about her? Yes I have an itch that needs scratching (not that kind of itch, perv).
Malu Fernandez is a columnist of Manila Standard Today and has an article for People Asia Magazine. Let me correct that, she wrote THE article that stirred up the latest blogosphere controversy. “From Boracay to Greece”. A self-proclaimed diva, and what others have put is a “pretentious, name dropping attention hogger”.
Scan shots of the article: (as printed on People Asia, June 2007)
just click anywhere outside the zoomed in image to view this page again (or open in a different tab or window, especially if it’s loading slow and it’s boring you hehehe)

It’s been a while since I last posted something here.

Sorry I haven’t been updating. I haven’t really been away, the lack of better things to say has kept me off my own blog and just continued on lurking on other people’s blogs.
Yes, I have been that silent visitor hitting your pages like a stalker. -evil laugh- joke but seriously, I have been reading up and have been blog hopping (till I cannot find any more links to hop onto). But I haven’t touched any of the blogs I am authoring
I am engrossed with the controversies flying everywhere about the kid and his supposed ghost writer, the misrepresentation, etc. Uh… I don’t want to have to explain, just that those are the issues and I can only watch in the sidelines (dumbfounded forever ito) while the battles rage on.
Is this post the end of the hiatus? Not really. I’m up to neck with work and medical hangups and problems (dumagdag pa yang epal na ilusyonadang nang-aangkin ng boyfriend! -details next time-) that I still want time off from blogging. BUT! But I just want to update everyone about certain things that might take your interests.
