I guess the generalization is harsh and in turn, what they fear (on certain men losing respect for women) sometimes gets worse. Meaning, it's like saying that ALL men are drooling horndawgs who can't control themselves... and will have an erection if they see a flash of an ankle or freckle. Kinda... sad.
