Programmer’s Block

I cannot code.

Somebody should remind me that I am a web developer. Sometimes my brain forgets. I need to work on a script and I’ve been start it, finished the code, tested it, didn’t get the output I wanted and although I should be debugging it (which might be just a simple typo or misplaced variable), my mind is elsewhere.

I have been staring at a semi-blank php page in dreamweaver for the last 30 minutes that I decided to have a break (oh great, I need a break from doing nothing) and blog for a while. I know what I’m suppose to do and I have actually done this before… My only weirdness is that I can’t make myself continue typing out the codes and test it again. My mind is willing but the flesh won’t cooperate. Joiz snap out of it already!

@_@

Thank you to those who greeted me on the forums and through sms and through IM and email and to those who called and even to a few who visited me personally. I didn’t receive pictures of pets or half naked men greeting me on skin like I did a few years back. :lol: my friends provided me with such funny memories to blackmail them with…

Back For My Birthday

I am quite back! And for my first trick, I will saw jimsie in half…. errrr no. :lol:
For my first post after my “yet another” leave, I will show everyone glimpses of what I have been up to.

Lady of ManaoagLast weekend, I took up an invitation to go Manaoag, Pangasinan. I honestly am not a very religious person, but when I was invited to join the pilgrimage to the Miraculous Lady of Manaoag, I took it as a sign to get help me strengthen myself as a person. Something told me this was the escape that I needed to have, that I have longed to get.

The experience was peaceful and quite fulfilling. I do not remember when the last time I prayed solemnly and sincerely but on that day, I gave myself back to faith. I prayed for family and friends and for peace of mind and heart.

Reminiscing...Aside from this spiritual fulfillment, it was sort of a roadtrip aswell. Sadly, I didn’t have my daughter with me to cherish the moments since my mother advised me against bringing her on this beating 10-hour round trip travel upnorth. I took photos of the things I saw on the road, not much human poses involved (with the exception of me posing in a few times). This time I used my phone to take photos (last trip, my digicam was stolen). I enjoyed the on the road experience although my butt fell asleep after all those times seated.

Halloween

Halloween’s gone and done. Too bad. I enjoyed the vampire flics on tv.

This was the first year after three or four years that I have gone to a halloween costume party. No I didn’t go as a vampire, I did that the last time. I went after the gothic lady look since I was informed of the party on that same day and had no time to get my kimono cleaned. And as I found out, only the nagajuban is in my closet! I can’t find the iromuji, mamatay na ang humiram nun ng walang paalam.

I would have wanted to go as a female samurai (wahahahah O-Ren Ishii wannabe!). I am very fascinated with the Japanese culture specifically the Samurai (greatly influenced by the anime Rorouni Kenshin). Oooo I just remembered. I was looking around ebay a few days ago and found these babies. The first two photos are wakizashi’s the last photo is composed of a 42-inch katana, 33-inch wakizashi and a tanto (or a dagger).

I really want original katanas that were made really for fighting and not just for display. I know they are not toys but…. we wants it…. Prreciousss!!
